for - Identity Design Course
role - Brand Designer
problem - Students were tasked with choosing a brand they believed could benefit from a fresh look & were required to create all the following deliverables. A new Identity Mark (including Word Mark, Pictorial/Abstract, & Letter Mark), business cards, a website landing page (both mobile & desktop), an example social media post with a branded profile photo, & two versions of package design including the new identity & associated marks.
solution - For this project, I selected the Fashion & Fragrance brand Mugler, & worked to give them a new identity to match the young, futuristic designs & perfumes that are being manufactured currently by the new creative designer Casey Cadwallader. Their past mark & identity were more reflective of the previous look & designs created by the late Thierry Mugler, & it was time for the new direction to have a new look. With acidic bold colors, younger images & aesthetics, & clean futuristic type, I wanted the new identity to represent the new era that Mugler was heading toward creatively.
